"People don't buy WHAT you do, they buy WHY you do it."--Simon Sinek, "Start with Why"

Here is our reason WHY:

MC Cattle Company Leadership

Here are our team members for building "Maternal Centric" cattle to afford a proper work-life balance.  Each member contributes their own unique qualities and perspectives to building this balanced team.

Byron

A 2007 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Retired Captain as an Infantry Officer in the United States Marine Corps, Byron's most valued titles include "husband" and "Dad(dy)."  Byron uses strategic mission planning learned from the Marine Corps for setting MC Cattle's long-term objectives, makes all genetic selections, and manages daily operations.  He takes pride in the animals produced, and the opportunities the operation affords him--and the rest of the team--to enjoy the quality of life and memories, they experience together.  Through serving in combat and humanitarian disaster zones, Byron understands the value and limitations in this life, and believes in making the most of the time we are given in this beautiful world and sharing it with those we value most.  For him, that is family.

Bridgette

As a "Maternal Centric" program, Bridgette is the foundation female on which our entire program is built.  Born and raised in Annapolis, MD, Bridgette is a 2006 graduate of Mount St. Mary's in Emmitsburg, MD and brings unique red outcross genetics from the east coast back to our Midwest operation.  Aside from ensuring the well being of the entire family, she operates her own art business--"The Creative Bridge"--and instills in our program personality, humor, and the forward vision for making long, and lasting family memories.

Matthew

Matthew

Lover of hay bale Ninja Warrior training, working corral obstacle courses, and Marvel comics.  Matthew specializes in teaching his younger brother what it is to be a boy and to follow the family rules of "no fun," and letting Dad catch the most and biggest fish.

Audrey

Our next generation of maternal influence, Audrey loves dancing, helping her mother, and making laughs.  She enjoys spontaneous dance parties in the cattle truck and possesses the perfect vocal inflection for bringing cows from one paddock to the next.

Owen

Meticulous in his attention to detail, Owen also loves trucks, tractors, and "checkin' the cows."  He loves learning from his big brother and sister, and like all young bulls, pretending to be tougher than he is.
